Kids back at school

I honestly can't remember Sunday night... pretty sure I went to bed fairly early after having 2 pieces of toast with vegemite. I drank water all day, and the toast was all I had to eat. DP got up Monday morning with DD 4. I got up to find him sitting in his chair in the living room - he often sits there because he falls asleep. He hadn't got breakfast for DD 4, just gave her a milo as he usually does. DD 1 slept in as well, it was after my shower when I noticed she was awake - about 8am. I took DS 13 to school at 8.20am leaving the little ones with DP. DD 16 catches a bus. I got home and DP asked what the plans for the day were. I said I thought we'd go shopping as we needed to the day before but I was too ill. DP headed to the bathroom at about 9am and was out around 10am. He didn't shower... I mention that because his last shower was Saturday before we went out. He should really shower daily. Anyway, we went out and about an hour in I started feeling really sick. After 2 hours all I wanted to do was go home and rest. We were home by 12.30pm and I went to bed. DP bought DD 1 in asleep at about 1.30pm. I got up at 2.30pm more because I knew I had to get DS 13 at 3pm. I mentioned to DP that he wasn't looking well and he tried to insist he was fine while at the same time putting on his droopy shoulders. Yes, I say this like it's an act, and I think it is... I think it's his way of saying "It's my turn to be unwell, don't expect too much from me from this point on".

Monday's of school term are busy for me, I pick up DS 13 at 3pm, go home, get DD 4 ready for her sport, take her to pick up DD 16 at 3.40ish, head to sport, at 5.30pm I take DD 4 home and leave DD 16 for her training, then I have to pick her up at 7.30pm. In between we have tea, which was supposed to be a roast, but ended up being spaghetti on toast. We had nothing for the kids to have for recess so I wanted to cook. I didn't get a chance - after coming home at close to 8pm I cuddled DD 1, DD 4 and DS 13 went to bed, DD 16 had to have tea then she went to bed. DD 1 fought sleep for me until 10pm when I handed her to DP and she went to sleep almost straight away. That's when I started to cook, I made cupcakes. DP spent his time on the computer again. Ok, heating up spaghetti and making some toast doesn't take much effort, but he was off the computer for that time. He did some dishes too, but this morning I realised they were just the ones I'd left to soak after I did some after tea.

Tuesday - again, I was up at 6.45 with DD 4. DD 1 got up at 7am. I was doing some dishes (I had to put away the ones DP did last night, as well as the ones DP had stuffed in a box beside the drying rack instead of putting away properly, grrr) I got them both breakfast and went for my shower. DP headed back to bed, I did more dishes before getting myself some breakfast - my first day of "normal eating" LOL I made DD 4 lunch and got her snacks (cupcakes) and drink packed in to her bag. We left at 8.40am, dropped DS 13 at school then took DD 4 to pre-school. I headed to mum's until 10am, then went to my social group. Back to mum's for lunch, DD 1 slept. I stayed until I had to get DD 4 at 2.30pm. Headed to pick DS 13 up from school and went to visit Nanna where we met DD 16. DP rang while I was there to ask for his bank card number so he could order tea - I refused to give it to him. We headed home at 5pm and I cooked tea. DP had apparently slept until 2pm. I'm going to assume much of the time after that was spent in the toilet. He'd said on the phone that he had what DD 1 has, only I suspect she has a temporary lactose intolerance from the gastro so I've bought soy milk for her for the next couple of days - it's ok, she likes it LOL Anyway, the bathroom has been bleached and DP asked how to best clean sneakers, so I asked if he pooped in his shoe ROFL I asked in front of the kids, they thought it was hilarious :P Anyway... it's 7.40pm and DD 4 is insisting it's time to brush her teeth so she can go to bed... better go.
