A Lazy Day

So to continue on our day of illness... DP got up at 4pm and filled the sink. He did about 10 mins worth of dishes, asked DD 16 to dry, and sat back on WoW. He's still there and it's 6.30pm. I went out about 45 mins ago to take the 2 older kids in to town and picked up Macca's for tea while I was there. Those family meal deals are fantastic :) Don't quite feed all of us, but a Happy Meal and an extra burger and we're right.

I've just noticed that DD 4's face is starting to break out - she gets eczema but we're not entirely sure what sets it off. Could be the chips we had for lunch combined with chips from Macca's. She had 1 or 2 lamington fingers. Hmm... don't think she's had much juice or cordial. Probably no good food today either, toast... that would be all. And we had lasagne for tea, so no vegies lately. No fresh fruit left, shopping on the weekend. And she hasn't had milk yet because I don't like to give it when they've been sick. She will have a milo after tea and before bed.

  1. Better add that my afternoon was spent cuddling DD1 while she slept from about 2-4.30pm, then when she woke up she was still a bit sooky and cuddly, so I stayed sitting until about 5pm when I jumped on the computer before I had to go out with the kids. The arguement between DP and DD 16 is a whole other story - she'd asked if we could pick up her BF as well, DP said no it's too far out of the way... I was happy to do it but in the end DP hassled DD 16 to tears and she's going to her BF's house for lunch tomorrow instead.
